Peningkatan produktivitas area heading line dengan pendekatan pdca pada perusahaan manufaktur fastener
Abstract
Productivity in the manufacturing process is strongly influenced by machine downtime during operations. High downtime reduces effective production time and leads to failure in achieving production targets. This study aims to analyze the productivity of the heading line area at PT XYZ through downtime control using the dekidaka sheet combined with the Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) method. This research employs a descriptive approach with a before–after analysis. Primary data were obtained from daily production records using the dekidaka sheet, which includes production targets, actual output, downtime duration, and causes of downtime. Secondary data were collected from internal company documents and relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted by comparing production conditions before and after the implementation of the dekidaka sheet using the PDCA method. The results indicate that prior to the implementation of the dekidaka sheet with PDCA, the productivity of the heading line area was not optimal, as reflected by high downtime and inconsistent achievement of production targets. After the implementation, a reduction in downtime and an improvement in production target achievement were observed. These findings demonstrate that the use of the dekidaka sheet supported by the PDCA method can effectively improve operational productivity in the heading line area
