AI POLICY

Journal Scientific of Mandalika (JSM)

JSM recognizes the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in academic writing and research processes. The journal allows the use of AI technologies as supportive tools, provided that their use is conducted responsibly, transparently, and in accordance with academic integrity standards.

Authors may utilize AI tools for purposes such as language editing, grammar improvement, or technical assistance. However, AI must not be used to generate substantial parts of the manuscript without proper disclosure. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work.

All use of AI tools in the preparation of manuscripts must be clearly disclosed within the manuscript, ensuring transparency and accountability. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, as they do not meet the criteria for authorship and cannot take responsibility for the content.

The use of AI for generating data, analysis, or research findings without proper validation is strictly prohibited. Any misuse of AI that leads to plagiarism, data manipulation, or unethical research practices will be treated as a serious violation of publication ethics.

JSM is committed to adapting to technological advancements while maintaining ethical publishing standards, academic credibility, and scholarly responsibility in the use of AI in research and publication.
