Publication Ethics

Mandalika Law Journal is a peer-reviewed electronic national journal. This statement clarifies ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the chief editor, the editorial Board, the peer-reviewers, and the publisher (Yayasan Baru Haji Samsudin). This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Ethical Guidelines for Publishing

Publishing articles in Mandalika Law Journal is a very important process in developing coherent and respectable knowledge. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support researchers. The articles reviewed contain and support scientific methodology. Therefore, it is important to agree on the standards of ethical behavior expected for all parties involved in the publishing process including authors, editors, expert editors, managing editors, publishers, and the public.

Publishing Decision

The editors are responsible for deciding which submitted articles should be published. The validation of these works and their importance to authors and readers should support this decision. Editors are guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and are limited by laws covering defamation, copyright, and plagiarism. Editors can discuss with other editors or the assessment team to decide on policies.

Justice

Editors always judge texts based on their intellectuality regardless of the author's race, gender, creed, ethnicity, nationality, or political philosophy.

Confidentiality

Expert editors and managing editors are prohibited from disclosing any information regarding submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the authors themselves, senior editors, review partners, and publishers.

Notices and Conflicts of Interest

All unpublished content written in the manuscript is prohibited for use in the editor's own research without confirmation from the author.
