DAYA TARIK WISATA AIR TERJUN DAN AGENDA VERIFIKASI PENGELOLAAN EKOWISATA DI LOMBOK: ANALISIS TEMATIK ULASAN PENGUNJUNG BENANG STOKEL DAN BENANG KELAMBU

Abstract

This exploratory qualitative study examines how visitors appraise forested waterfall experiences and the organization of visits at Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu, Lombok, Indonesia. Reflexive thematic analysis was applied to 12 identifiable visitor reviews reconstructed from 15 pages of English-language screenshots. Because the screenshots were not obtained through a documented sampling procedure, the extraction date, total review population, and completeness of several accounts remain unknown. The corpus is therefore not representative of visitors. Four themes were interpreted: (1) landscape and emotional experience; (2) fee fairness and perceived local benefits; (3) guiding as assistance, environmental information, and personal choice; and (4) trail access, visitor information, and local norms. Contrasting accounts suggest a conditional appraisal: appreciation of the waterfalls can coexist with concerns over the prices, explanation, or organization of services. The proposed framework connects nature-based experience and service-governance appraisal through perceived value, procedural clarity, and visitor autonomy. The findings suggest an initial agenda for verification, not a validated ranking of management priorities: fee communication, guide services, trail conditions, and evidence of environmental and local benefits. Neither ecological conditions nor administrative performance was measured.
