PENGUATAN PEMBINAAN SEPAK BOLA USIA PELAJAR MELALUI PENDAMPINGAN SEKOLAH SEPAK BOLA (SSB) DI KOTA KOTAMOBAGU
Abstract
This study analyzes the coaching conditions, institutional needs, and reported mentoring outcomes at two school-age football schools (SSB) in Kotamobagu City. A descriptive qualitative case study approach was used at SSB Dikra Pobundayan and SSB Sipatuo Junior Bungko. The informants included coaches, administrators, school-age players, and parents; reported data sources included observations, interviews, documentation, and mentoring notes. Of the eight aspects in the qualitative assessment, four were categorized as “Good” regular training, basic techniques, the coach’s role, and player discipline; the other four were categorized as “Fair” player administration, player evaluation, training facilities, and parent coordination. Six strengthening needs included written training programs, administration, evaluation, coach capacity, facilities, and family communication. The mentoring table recorded training program guidelines, a simple evaluation format, feedback for coaches, and coordination strengthening, but did not provide any before-after measurement of change. The basis for categorization has not been stated as a tested rubric, while interview excerpts and field notes were used for independent review. Future research should include anonymity of informants, qualitative evidence, outcome monitoring, and approval for publication of children's photos.
