Inovasi Administrasi Pendidikan Melalui Teknologi Informasi: Praktik Baik Dari SMA NW Kalijaga
Abstract
The development of information technology has driven significant transformations in the world of education, particularly in the school administration system. This study aims to describe and analyze the efficiency of information technology-based educational administration services at SMA NW Kalijaga, East Lombok, as a representative of private schools that are adaptive to digitalization. The study used a qualitative approach with a single case study design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model. The results showed that the implementation of an electronic archive management system and e-mail-based digital correspondence system was able to improve the efficiency of administrative work. On the other hand, the use of a QR-code-based attendance system had a positive impact on the accuracy of real-time student attendance recording. Furthermore, the integration of the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) into curriculum and learning administration successfully increased the effectiveness of exam management, material distribution, and learning evaluation. Efficiency was also evident in the use of email forwarding in managing official school correspondence. The conclusion of this study states that information technology can accelerate services, improve data accuracy, and reduce administrative burdens. It is recommended that other private schools adopt similar technology with training support, adequate infrastructure, and internal regulations that encourage comprehensive digital system integration
