Abstract
This research delves into the relationship between parenting styles and the socio-emotional development of young children. Utilizing a deductive approach, the study aims to elucidate the general phenomenon related to parenting styles and their impact on child development. Findings from various previous studies indicate that responsiveness, communication style, consistency, and modeling within parenting styles play crucial roles in shaping the foundation of a child's socio-emotional development. The research aims to provide a more in-depth and detailed understanding of how these factors interact and mutually influence each other. It is anticipated that the outcomes of this study will contribute significantly to both theoretical and practical insights in supporting the socio-emotional development of young children.
