PENGARUH EDUKASI DENGAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA SISWA MTs. QAMARUL HUDA BAGU

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period between childhood and adulthood, and is relatively not yet achieved full mental and social maturity. Adolescent Reproductive Health is defined as the healthy condition that relates to the reproductive system functions and processes of adolescents. Some factors that influence adolescent reproductive health behavior are genetic factors, environmental factors, and behavior. Objective: To determine the effect of audio-visual education on the reproductive health knowledge of adolescent students at MTs Qamarul Huda Bagu. Methods: This study is quantitative research using Pre-Experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted from November 10th to December 10th, 2022, using purposive sampling technique with a total of 60 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: There is a difference in the level of adolescent reproductive health knowledge of students before and after being given audio-visual education. Bivariate analysis results showed that the significant value of p for the Wilcoxon test was 0.001 < (0.05), indicating that there is an effect of audio-visual education on the reproductive health knowledge of adolescent students at MTs. Qamarul Huda Bagu. Conclusion: There is an effect of audio-visual education on the reproductive health knowledge of adolescent students at MTs. Qamarul Huda Bagu.
