Abstract

The ideal leader will bring about good changes. As al-Mawardi’s political theory which explains that the ideal state will be created when the leader meets the requirements as a leader. Among them are fair, knowledgeable, not defective in his five senses, not defective in his organs, intelligent, brave, and the last lineage from Quraish. The type of transformative leadership is related to values ​​that are relevant to any exchange or change process, such as fairness, honesty, and responsibility. The Indonesian nation needs someone who has the character of a statesman and a visionary to lead the nation forward, who is ready to put aside personal interests, is willing to take risks, and is willing to work real to advance and prosper the nation's life. Not only that, a good leader in making policies and decisions must refer to Pancasila.
