PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ANDROID BAHASAN DINAMIKA LITOSFER GEOGRAFI KELAS X SMA
Abstract
Android-based learning media in the subject of Geography is present as a solution to create innovative learning media in schools. In addition, this research was also carried out to maximize the use of Android, which is growing every year, in fact, currently most students are already using Android. The main objective of the research is to present an android-based learning media for the discussion of Lithosphere Dynamics of Geography that is feasible and practical. The research carried out is a Research and Development (R&D) type of development research with the ADDIE development model. The steps or procedures of this research consist of five stages which include analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the validity test were obtained from three validators, consisting of two media validators and one material validator. To find out the results of practicality, learning media products were tested on 20 students in class X SMA Negeri 6 Pariaman. Data collection was carried out using several research instruments, namely questionnaires, assessment formats and documentation. The results of the media validation carried out consisting of media validators I and II are in the "Very Eligible" category, with each validator obtaining a value of 4.92 and 4.69, so that it can be concluded that the learning media that have been created are feasible to be tested. Whereas for material validation by one validator, a value of 4.58 was obtained which was in the "Very Appropriate" category so that the material was declared feasible for use. The results of the student practicality trials obtained a value of 4.64 in the "Very Practical" category. From the results that have been described, it can be concluded that android-based learning media in Geography class X SMA is feasible and practical to use.
